Privacy Policy
Last updated October 12, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Conference and Event Management Solutions, LLC collects through this site, why it is collected, how it is used, and the choices you have about it. It applies to this site and the event registration services offered through it.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways.
- Information you give us. When you create an account or register for an event we collect your name, user name, email address, postal address, telephone numbers and the details you enter on your profile. If you contact us through the site we keep your message and any files you attach to it.
- Information about your use of the site. We record sign-in attempts, including the date, the outcome and the network address you connected from, and we log significant actions taken in the application. This is kept for security and to diagnose faults.
- Payment information. Where an event charges a fee, payment details are handled by the payment provider. We keep a record of the transaction, not your full card number.
How we use it
- To create and administer your account and let you sign in.
- To register you for events and to communicate with you about them.
- To answer messages you send us.
- To keep the service secure, to detect misuse and to investigate problems.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
Your information is shared with the organization running an event you register for, so that they can administer your attendance. We also use service providers - for example for email delivery, payment processing and hosting - who may process your information on our behalf and only on our instructions. We disclose information when the law requires it.
Keeping your information
We keep account and registration records for as long as your account is active, and after that for as long as we need them for the purposes above or to meet a legal obligation. Security and activity logs are kept for a shorter period.
Security
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes and are never recoverable in readable form. Access to personal information within the application is restricted to the people who need it to administer the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet is immune from interception.
Your choices and rights
You can see and change most of your information yourself on your profile page. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to a data protection authority. Write to us at the address below and we will respond.
Cookie policy
We do not sell your personal information to any third party. There is no advertising network on this site, no data broker, and nobody paying us for anything about you. The cookie panel you were shown on your first visit says the same thing, and the choices you made there are honoured.
A cookie is a small file the site asks your browser to keep. We use them in three categories, and you can turn off everything except the first.
Strictly necessary cookies
These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They keep you signed in, protect
every form against cross-site request forgery, and remember the cookie choices you make
so you are not asked again on every page. Your browser can block them, but signing in
and submitting forms will stop working. The record of your cookie choices is itself one
of these: it is stored in a cookie named cm_cookie_consent, which holds only
which categories you allowed and when you said so - no name, no address, no identifier
for you.
Performance cookies
These would let us count visits and see which pages are used, so we can tell what is worth keeping. Anything they collect is aggregated. They are off unless you turn them on, and nothing they collect is sold or handed to anyone else.
Targeting cookies
Cookies of this kind are normally set by an advertising partner to build a profile of your interests and show you adverts on other sites. We do not have any, and we will not. They are off for every visitor and the cookie panel offers no way to turn them on, because your personal information is not for sale.
Changing your mind
The Cookie Preferences link at the foot of every page reopens the panel with your current choices, and you can change them as often as you like. Your answer is kept for a year, after which you will be asked again; we will also ask again if this policy changes in a way that affects what the cookies do. Clearing your browser's cookies clears the answer along with them. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to keep the optional categories off.
Your rights over the sale of personal information
Laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act give you the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. There is nothing here to opt out of, because we do not sell it and never have. If you would like that confirmed in writing, or want to exercise any other right described above, write to us at the address below.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and significant changes will be brought to your attention.
